I went through Austria three times on my rail trip of April/May 2005. Austria has good cheese, the Alps near the border with Switzerland are simply stunning. I also passed through Austria on a bus from Moldova to France in April 2006, however it didn't stop and this was during the night. I was in Vienna for a few days in January 2010 and it was nice to finally see the city a bit after passing through before. The city feels very grand and formal.
