The other jewel of my collection. A clock using nixies! This was a display technology which was popular in the 1950s and 60s until the LED displays became popular in the 1970s. It was rarely used for clocks since nixies were expensive. Today there are some people who make clocks out of them though.

Clock with Nixie tube display (NTD), uses Z5700 tubes, made in Germany, in clear plastic case made in Iceland, bought in 2004. 17 x 12 x 10 cm, 633g, with power supply 999g.
