I don't have that many calculators anymore. For a while I collected calculators, after I had stopped going after old computers. They don't take up as much space by a long shot, and are simpler and thus less likely to not work. Still I eventually got rid of most of my collection, and now there are just a handful of favorites back home on the Big Island. Still if anyone out there has one in need of a good home email me. The one I dream of most is the Friden EC-130 or 132.

For a size comparison most of the pictures below include my cylinder of tungsten.

Tenkaichi Soroban No. 1352

Abacus "Tenkaichi Soroban No. 1352" from Honoka'a High School 1990's, made in Japan. 15 x 5.5 x 1.5 cm. What calculator collection would be complete without an abacus. Not that this sort of collection can ever be COMPLETE.

"Sharp EL-8" four function probably made 1969-71, made in Japan, VFD, in case "Sharp Compet Elsi-8". 16 x 10 x 7 cm, 593g. This is arguably the first handheld portable calculator. It is simply incredible. A thing of beauty. This is my favourite calculator.

"Targus Model: PAUK001 v.3.0" four function, made in China, LCD, connects to USB port as keypad, bought in 2004. 16 x 9.5 x 2.5 cm, 173g. I got this partially to use as an external keypad, unfortunately this feature refuses to work! Very annoying. Otherwise it is a simple four function calculator with nice clicky keys.
