I spent a couple days in Vilnius in March 2005, I tried to go on to Belarus but it was too expensive to get a transit visa. Of the three baltic countries Lithuania felt the most slavic.

This was my favorite church in Vilnius, it was such a nice green colour. I am often quite fond of orthodox churches. I tried to enter this one but when via the wrong door at first. Some old woman yelled at me in Russian, but was very nice when she realized I was a foreigner. March 2005.
