I was in and out of Norway shortly on the research trip it went on in October 2004. At that time I only seen saw of the Finnmark near the Finnish border. Then the plane stopped in Oslo on the way back to Iceland. The evil Norwegian border control always refused to stamp my passport. Woe to the lack of borders between Nordic countries. I went to Norway once again in May of 2005 at the end of my Europe wide rail trip, and finally got a stamp in my passport. I really liked Bergen in particular. I was next in Oslo in November 2009 for a day by ferry from Copenhagen.
