I went to Qatar as another break from Saudi Arabia. I had a good time getting there by hitching. Doha reminded me very much of Bahrain and Kuwait. To me it feels like a sort of Saudi Arabia light. Culturally similar but richer and more open. I had a really nice time during the weekend I spent there. The downside to Doha is the traffic. The whole time I was there there seemed to be a traffic jam in the entire city. Also I have never been to a place so in love with the roundabout.
